BabyHawk On Snap Baby Carrier – Back Carry

  • Toddler carrier recommended for 15 pounds and 6 months to 45 pounds – (I would not suggest carrying a toddler that is younger than 6 months, regardless of how much he/she weighs. The seat is not designed to give younger babies enough support)
  • Offers both front and back carry positions
  • Heavy-duty military-grade buckles
  • Foam core waist belt with three part adjustments on either side (see adjustment options below)
  • Triple-padded shoulder straps – can be unbuckled and crossed in the back for more support when using the front carry position.
  • Removable sternum strap on sliders with double adjusters
  • Adjusts to fit women’s sizes 0-22 and men’s sizes S-XXL
  • Seat darts provide a sturdy seat for little one
  • Stiff headrest folds up or down

BabyHawk On Snap Toddler Carrier Review

BabyHawk On Snap Baby Carrier – Front Carry

The BabyHawk Oh Snap Toddler Carrier is basically the Mei Tai Carrier with buckles that clip instead of straps that tie. I’m impressed with it. I love how easy it is to use, and I love how adjustable it is. I especially like the option of crossing the straps in the back when using it in the front carry position. The extra support, especially when you have a heavy toddler, is much needed.

As far as reviews go, the BabyHawk Oh Snap Toddler Carrier did really well, with 10 out of 12 reviewers rating it a full 5 stars. Most love how supportive it is, stating that the carriers larger body and seat darts seem to give their little ones more support. Same goes for the wearer with the triple-padded shoulder straps and wide waist belt. I actually had a hard time finding any negative feedback, aside from one reviewer that had a hard time adjusting it to fit her petite size.

All in all, I’d say that the BabyHawk Oh Snap Toddler Carrier is a high quality carrier, offering optimal comfort for both wearer and baby. See for yourself what others had to say about their BabyHawk Oh Snap below.

Customer Feedback:

Awesome carrier for mom and baby, July 28, 2011

By KGoody (California)

I purchased the BabyHawk Oh Snap to replace my Ergo carrier that was lost in the airport. I am so glad I purchased this instead of getting another ergo. This carrier is far more supportive and comfortable for me thanks to the many adjustment options. The waist belt is more structured and supportive, and the shoulder straps are slightly less padded, but are no less comfortable – it just helps cut down on bulk. The body of the carrier is wider and taller than the ergo, giving my baby better support as well. Back carry is more comfortable, and baby can sit higher so she can see over my shoulder.

Love, love, love!!, March 30, 2011

I have been using Babyhawk Mei Tais since my second child was born in 2007 and was thrilled to try out the BabyHawk Oh Snap when it came out! I teach a Babywearing Class in my area, so proper positioning and quality are very important to me. The Babyhawk Oh Snap is THE buckle carrier I recommend. The quality is amazing, customer service is a breeze and they are sooo cute. They keep baby in the correct position as supported by babywearing experts – supported knee to knee with knees higher than bum. And this carrier will comfortably carry your toddler on your back for years. Can’t rave enough!
